Program Overview

The University of Haifa’s international master’s degree in Art Therapy is a full-time, two-year program designed to prepare professionals to practice in this new and growing field of therapy.

Year 1 - students will complete their academic courses over three semesters along with a weekly fieldwork experience under supervision.
Year 2 - students will complete an independent Practicum with one-on-one supervision. This new format enables international students to complete the practicum requirement in their home country and start their professional socialization there.

After completing the two years of the program, students will sit for a cumulative final exam, which will be conducted online.

Upon successful completion of all academic requirements, including the final exam and field training hours, students will be awarded an MA in Creative Arts Therapies with a specialization in Art Therapy.
